TRANSLATION MEMORY & TERMBASE
Translation Memory (TM) is a software that improves the speed and quality of our translations. TM is able to store previously translated content into a database, which can later be recalled for a new project. With every completed project, the size of the repository grows larger, providing you with further benefits in terms of discounts, turnaround time, and translation quality.
CTS can also use Termbase to create custom glossaries specific to your projects. If your company has a preference in the way key terminology is translated, we would be able to apply them consistently to all of your projects.
TM and Termbase are excellent tools that are particularly helpful when working on urgent projects requiring multiple translators.
WORKFLOW & QUALITY ASSURANCE
At CTS, we understand that mistakes are most likely to occur when we are not following our processes. This is why we have developed our own customised workflows to streamline our translation projects.
One of the most important steps of our translation workflow is Quality Assurance (QA), which is the process of confirming that the quality standards are being met.
Our QA process is extensive and removes errors ranging from simple mistakes (e.g., spelling and grammar) to more complex errors (e.g., misused terminologies and inconsistent translations). We also use QA software to machine-detect errors that our team might have missed.
